Dougie Mac Shops

We have 21 charity shops across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, as well as a click and collect hub in Trentham. Thanks to you our local community, Dougie Mac retail contributes over £5 million of income each year to sustain the hospice’s specialist care services.

Donating to our Shops

Thank you for thinking of Dougie Mac, we are always in need of good quality donations especially clothing, accessories, homewares, electricals, collectables, books, toys and games.

We do politely ask you to be thoughtful when donating and ensure all your donations are in a good, clean, unbroken and sellable condition.  We really don’t like saying no to things, but there are some items we just can’t accept and also cost us money to dispose of.  Please see our handy guide on what we’d love to receive from you and what we can’t accept.

Furniture Collection

We are always happy to receive donations of furniture to sell in our Meir, Cheadle and Burslem shops. If you’re unable to drop donations off at these shops, we offer a collection service across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. Please log your collection request by completing our short form below.  Our collections team will then be in touch within 72 hours to organise collection.

Before organising your collection please check that: 

  • Furniture is in good, clean condition and, where appropriate, is working correctly
  • All upholstered furniture, including each item within a set, has its own fire label attached

    If you have very special items you wish to donate then we would look to sell them on eBay to get the very best price for your kind donation and generate as much money to support the hospice.
